Everything
before you book.

The details brides, clients, and students most often ask — answered plainly, so you can decide with confidence.

01

Bridal.

  • Yes — a trial is included in every bridal package. It's typically booked four to eight weeks before the wedding so we can perfect the look, test wear, and photograph it in natural light before your day.

  • For peak season (May through October) six to nine months in advance is safest. Off-season dates can often be secured with three months' notice, but bespoke dates and destination weddings require earlier planning.

  • Absolutely. On-location service is included within a 30 mile radius; further travel and destination weddings are quoted individually and include prep time, travel, and accommodations where needed.

  • Yes — additional artists are brought in to keep everyone on schedule. Party pricing is quoted after the consultation once we know timing, number of faces, and complexity of looks.

  • A 30% non-refundable retainer secures your date on the calendar. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding.

02

Day, Night & Occasion.

  • Day looks are built for natural light and long, breathable wear — polished skin, soft definition, and a matte-luminous finish. Night looks add depth: sharper eye work, richer pigment, and finishes engineered to hold under flash and low light.

  • Yes. For editorial, campaign, and creative bookings we include a pre-production research phase — mood boards, reference gathering, and a technical breakdown of the looks before we ever open a kit.

  • Day makeup runs 45 to 60 minutes, evening looks 60 to 75, and editorial or bridal 90 minutes and up. Arrive with clean, moisturized skin so we can get right into it.

  • Please do. Reference images help us align on finish, intensity, and mood — then we tailor the execution to your features rather than copying a look flatly.

03

Availability & Rescheduling.

  • Submit a booking request with your preferred date and time and you'll hear back within 24 hours with availability and a confirmation link.

  • Non-bridal sessions can be rescheduled once at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Inside 48 hours a 50% fee applies. Bridal reschedules are handled case by case and depend on the new date's availability.

  • Standard sessions cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice are fully refundable. Inside 48 hours the deposit is retained. Bridal retainers are non-refundable but transferable to a new date within twelve months when possible.

  • Yes. If your preferred date is booked, we'll add you to the waitlist and reach out immediately if it opens up.

04

Online Courses.

  • The core curriculum is pre-recorded so you can work at your own rhythm. Editorial Mastery and The Bridal Business also include live group Q&A sessions and one-on-one review calls scheduled with Emy directly.

  • Lifetime access — including any updates or new modules added to your course after enrollment.

  • Essentials & Theory assumes no prior experience. Editorial Mastery and The Bridal Business are built for artists with foundational skills who want to move into paid, professional work.

  • Yes — every course concludes with a certificate of completion once your final submission has been reviewed.

  • Full refunds are available within seven days of enrollment, provided fewer than 20% of modules have been completed. After that we're happy to credit your tuition toward another course.
